Buyers Policy
All adopts are for PERSONAL USE ONLY, unless stated otherwise. Please contact the artist if you wish to use them for commercial use.
You must pay within 48 hours unless stated otherwise. For bid auctions.
For bids, if highest bidder doesn't respond within 24 hours, the adopt will go to the second highest bidder.
If any problems arise during the payment, please contact the artist at least 24 hours prior.
No holds or reservations unless otherwise stated.
No bargaining unless otherwise stated.
For OTAs, pay your part first.
No refunds, unless otherwise stated.
Some artists will include the adopt you have paid for into their portfolio as a design example, if you do not wish for the adopt to be included please notify them beforehand.
Ownership
Ownership
✦ You may claim the character as yours, but please give credit to the original artist as the designer.✦ After buying, you may change the name, gender, add a backstory of your choice, etc.✦ Please contact the original creator for their personal policies if you wish to make changes to a design you purchased.✦ Please contact the original creator for their personal policies if you wish to resell.✦ You may gift the design, but you must also notify the original creator of ownership change beforehand.
Commercial Use
✦ All adopts are for PERSONAL USE ONLY, unless stated otherwise. Please contact the artist if you wish to use them for commercial use.✦ If you want to commercially use our design (in artbooks, prints, etc.), you must contact the original creator to get permission and pay any commercial fee they charge. This applies to those who purchase a resold design that originated from one of our artists as well.
Blacklist
✦ Failure to adhere to the TOS will result in a strike in our 3 strike policy. 3 strikes will result in a blacklist/ban✦ Depending on the severity of the action, failure to comply may also result in immediate ban.✦ Scamming in any way, shape or form will result in immediate and permanent ban.✦ In the case of blacklist/ban, the artist of the design will have the right to reclaim the design and place it back up for auction.
【PAYMENT】
Set Price Adopts
These adopts will have a set price, so it’s first come first serve. DM the artist (on their main account, not the adoptable account) to purchase.
Bid To Adopt
These adopts will be owned by the highest bidder in the limited time frame set by the artist. There are a few terms you’ll need to know before bidding:SB: Starting bid; the base amount that the first person must bid.MI: Minimum (bid) increase; the minimum amount you must increase your bid by from the person before you.AB: Auto buy; the amount you pay to automatically receive the adopt. Some artists offer bonus art with ABs, but not always.
Offer To Adopt (OTA)
The artist will put up a request, be it art, money, or something else in exchange for the adopt, and interested buyers can make an offer in accordance to the request. The artist can choose any offer they wish to accept at any point
Raffle Adopt
By following rules in the raffle, you will receive an assigned number. After the raffle period, the creator will draw a random number from a number generator and whoever’s number gets generated first will obtain ownership.
Draw To Adopt (DTA)
A contest type adopt, where you draw the adopt in question. By the end of the contest period, the creator will choose their favorite entry and ownership will be granted to the winner!
